Police arrested 24 PTI workers during clashes in Zaman Park

Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) The police arrested 24 workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf during the clashes in Zaman Park. Among the arrested workers, 12 belong to Sheikhupura and 7 belong to Lahore, in addition to this, workers from Upper Dir, Lower Dir and Azad Kashmir are also included. The police said that the accused will be produced in the court tomorrow for remand.

It should be noted that after the non-bailable arrest warrant of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan was issued, a team of Islamabad Police along with a heavy contingent of Lahore Police has been present at Zaman Park since yesterday, where they were arrested by PTI workers. The PTI activists pelted stones, fired grenades, threw sticks, chanted Maru Maru slogans and threw petrol bombs. .
