NA 193 by-election Imran Khan withdrew nomination papers

Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided not to participate in the by-elections of NA-193.

On behalf of Imran Khan, an application has been filed in the Election Commission to withdraw the nomination papers. The Election Commission has confirmed the receipt of Imran Khan’s application. In place of Imran Khan, Mohsin Leghari will be the candidate of Tehreek-e-Insaf from NA-193. (N) Sardar Ammar Owais Leghari from League, while Sardar Hasan Khan Gurchani from Pakistan Peoples Party will be a candidate in the by-election.

It should be noted that the seat of NA 193 was vacant after the death of Tehreek-e-Insaf Member National Assembly Sardar Jafar Khan Leghari, on which by-elections will be held on February 26.
