Pune (Daily Pakistan Online) During the investigation of the bodies of 7 members of the same family found in the river in the city of Pune in the Indian state of Maharashtra, it has been revealed that they were allegedly killed by their relatives.
According to “NDTV”, between January 18 and January 24, Mohan Pawar (45), his wife Sangeeta Mohan (40), their daughter Rani Phulwari (24), son-in-law Shyam Phalwar, were killed in Duyand tehsil of Pune district in Maharashtra between January 18 and January 24. (28) and 3 children between the ages of 3 and 7 were found dead on the banks of the Bhima river.
An official said that the police have arrested five siblings of the deceased Mohan Pawar, Ashok Kalyan Pawar, Shyam Kalyan Pawar, Shankar Kalyan Pawar, Prakash Kalyan Pawar and Kantabai Sarjirao Jadhav. Pune Rural Superintendent of Police Ankit Goyal said that during the investigation certain facts emerged which indicated that all the dead were murdered.
He said that initially it has come to light that Dhananjay Pawar, son of the accused Ashok Pawar, had died in an accident a few months back and a case has been registered in this regard in Pune city. That Ashok was angry and blamed Mohan’s son for Dhananjay’s death. These seven people were killed to avenge the death of Ashoka’s son.
He said that all the accused were arrested from Parner tehsil of Ahmednagar district and a case has been registered against them under section 302 (murder) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code.
