The parliament building was closed due to fire risk

ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online) The meetings of the Senate and the Standing Committees were postponed today. The Senate Secretariat says that there was no loss of life or money, but all the buildings will be inspected as a precautionary measure.

According to Geonews, there were electrical sparks at a few places in the Parliament building. During the investigation, it was found that the wires of the sensitive electrical and audio video equipment of the building were cut. Due to the circuit, the offices of the National Assembly and Senate Secretariat will be closed for 3 days. Speaker National Assembly and Chairman Senate took immediate notice of the situation and directed the concerned secretaries to solve the problem quickly and efficiently.

The Senate Secretariat says that there was no loss of life or property, but all the buildings will be inspected as a precaution. As per the instructions of Sadiq Sanjrani, all the offices will be checked to avoid any kind of damage.
