The Election Commission contacted the secretary of the Punjab Assembly and re-called all the names for the caretaker chief minister

Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online) The Election Commission has contacted Secretary Punjab Assembly Inayatullah Lak.

According to the private TV channel Express News, the Election Commission of Pakistan has contacted the Secretary of the Punjab Assembly. For the request, the Assembly Secretariat sent a copy of the gazette notification to the Election Commission.

The Election Commission has again contacted the Assembly Secretary, in which it has been asked to send the letter containing the names which the Chief Minister had sent to the Speaker.

2 names were sent to the parliamentary committee due to the failure of consensus between the Chief Minister Punjab and the opposition leader. The opposition leader sent the names of Ahad Cheema and Mohsin Naqvi, after the parliamentary committee did not agree, the matter went to the Election Commission, where the Chief Election Commissioner will approve one of the names for the Chief Minister of Punjab after consultation.
