Islamabad (Daily Pakistan Online) Election Commission of Pakistan has received 18 billion rupees for general elections.

According to private TV channel 92 News, sources say that the money has been provided to the Election Commission for pre-election expenses.

The Election Commission has decided to send a new estimate of the election expenses. Sources say that due to separate elections in 2 assemblies, the expenses on the general elections have increased by more than 10 billion. The Election Commission had previously sent an estimate of 47 billion rupees on the general elections. That due to separate elections in 2 assemblies, the expenses will now be more than 57 billion.
