Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandial visited Central Jail Rawalpindi and distributed gift packs of warm clothes and essential items to the children.

Rawalpindi (Daily Pakistan Online) Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandyal visited Central Jail Rawalpindi along with honorable justices.

According to the private TV channel Express News, the Chief Justice of Pakistan was presented a guard of honor by the Central Jail Rawalpindi’s chowk-wachoband squad, Special Secretary Interior Fazlur Rehman and other relevant officers were also present. Oh, visited the Havalati and Prisoner barracks, issued orders to the prison administration to continue providing facilities to the prisoners, to further improve them, the Chief Justice of Pakistan established a center for technical education given to young prisoners and for the care, education and training of children. After reviewing the arrangements, the Chief Justice distributed gift packs of warm clothes and essential items among the children and prisoners.

During the visit to Chief Justice Umar Attabandial, IG Prisons Malik Mubashir Ahmed gave a briefing about the prisons across Punjab.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan said that the awareness of human rights to the prisoners is a good initiative of the National Commission for Human Rights.
