ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online): The Foreign Office has said that it is looking into the allegations of officials in the New Delhi High Commission allegedly asking “inappropriate” questions to an Indian woman.

According to the private TV channel “Dawn News”, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that we attach great importance to proper attitude and behavior towards all visa and consular applicants. have strict guidelines to maintain themselves professionally.

However, the spokesperson of the Foreign Office expressed surprise at the alleged incident and the manner in which the matter was raised. According to Today’s report, the Punjab University professor and department head has alleged that when she went to the Pakistani High Commission to apply for a visa, the staff asked her some inappropriate questions.

According to the report, the woman claimed that “the staff asked me when I got married, how I live without marriage and what I do to fulfill my sexual needs”.

The woman said that despite trying to change the subject, the authorities continued to ask such questions. According to the report, the victim woman professor was coming to give a lecture at a university in Lahore, requested to take up the matter.
