Vote of Confidence: PML-Q and PTI call parliamentary party meetings

LAHORE: Owing to the political situation in Punjab, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) have called separate parliamentary party meetings, BOL News reported this.
The meeting called by PML-Q would be led by Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Pervaiz Elahi that would be attended by ten members of the assembly.
During the meeting, members of PML-Q will express their confidence in Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
On the other hand, a meeting of the parliamentary party of Tehreek-e-Insaf has also been called, in which all the members will express confidence in Chief Minister Punjab.
Pertinently, PLM-N and PPP had submitted a no-confidence motion against CM Punjab and Speaker Punjab Assembly and a session has been summoned by Governor Punjab in this regard.
Governor Punjab instructed CM Punjab to take a vote of confidence on December 21, Wednesday.
The development came in response to the announcement by PTI to dissolve assemblies on December 23, Friday.
