Arguments on Rekodic presidential reference are over, the Supreme Court will give its opinion next week
Islamabad (Daily Pakistan Online) The Supreme Court of Pakistan has reserved its opinion on the recode presidential reference after the arguments of the lawyers were completed.
According to the private TV channel Express News, during the hearing, Chief Justice Umar Atta Bandyal said that the court will be careful on the issue of fundamental rights while giving an opinion on the presidential reference. Billions of dollars fine is on Pakistan.
The Chief Justice of Pakistan said that the federal government has observed the constitution and law in the Recode Agreement, and it is good that the agreement has ensured the observance of international standards.
Justice Ijaz-ul-Ahsan said that the agreement was not called illegal by any side in the Recodec reference, all the lawyers agreed that the Recodec is a transparent, public contract.
The Deputy Attorney General said that there have been negotiations for 3 years on the Rekodic Agreement, the Chief Justice of Pakistan said that all the judicial assistants, Additional Attorney General are grateful to the lawyers.
It should be remembered that the Supreme Court held 17 hearings on the recoded presidential reference.
