Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed has decided to retire prematurely, claims private TV

Rawalpindi (Daily Pakistan Online) After Chief of General Staff Lt. Gen. Azhar Abbas, former DGISI and current Corps Commander Bahawalpur Faiz Hameed has also decided to retire prematurely.

According to Naji TV, the reasons for the premature retirement decision of Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed have not been revealed yet. It should be remembered that President Arif Alvi has approved the appointment of General Asim Munir as Army Chief and General Sahir Shamshad as Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff on the advice of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Will take oath of office on retirement.
