Islamabad (Daily Pakistan Online) Accountability Court has given a safe verdict on the plea of ​​acquittal of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in the assets case.

According to the private TV channel Hum News, the court has ended the reference process of assets in excess of income against Ishaq Dar. Judge Muhammad Bashir said that the accountability court does not have jurisdiction over the case after the new act. Case reference sent back to NAB.

Ishaq Dar had filed a petition for acquittal in the reference of assets in excess of income, the court had accepted the request for exemption from the permanent presence of Ishaq Dar, the court had reserved the decision yesterday after the arguments of the parties were completed, reference Ishaq Dar, former president of National Bank Saeed Ahmed, Naeem Mahmood and Mansoor Raza Rizvi were nominated, the statements of 42 witnesses including the investigating officer were recorded in the reference.

The court said that after the amendment act, it is not our authority to decide on acquittal petitions, we cannot give a decision in favor of NAB or the accused. Judge accountability court said that the ongoing trial against Ishaq Dar is terminated.
