KARACHI (Daily Pakistan Online) The Sindh High Court has adjourned the hearing for an indefinite period while upholding the injunction of Asad Umar’s petition against the contempt notice of the Election Commission.

According to the private TV channel Hum News, Asad Umar’s petition was heard in the Sindh High Court against the insulting notice of the Election Commission. The application for transfer has been filed, the Supreme Court has issued notices to the parties on November 15.

Lawyer Asad Umar said that Election Commission is continuously using delaying tactics, Election Commission has indicated to file charges, yesterday Election Commission has summoned Asad Umar in personal capacity.

The Chief Justice Sindh High Court said that our injunction has prevented the Election Commission from taking final action.
