New Delhi (Daily Pakistan Online) A 22-year-old woman from Delhi, the capital of India, whose body was found inside a suitcase near the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh last week, has been killed by her father. According to the Superintendent of Police of Mathura, the parents of Ayushi Chaudhary have been arrested for her murder.
According to NDTV, accused Nitish Yadav allegedly shot dead his daughter, angry that she had ‘gone out for a few days’ without informing him. Sources said he was also angry that she had married a man from a different caste and that she often stayed out late at night. Ayushi Chaudhary was doing Bachelor of Computer application in Delhi.
After recovering the suitcase, police began tracing phones, examining CCTV footage, using social media, and even putting up posters in Delhi to identify the woman. However, concrete information about him was received from an anonymous call on Sunday morning and his mother and brother later identified him through photographs. The father, who lives in South Delhi’s Badarpur, was arrested by the police when he went to identify the body.
According to the police, Ayushi had married a man named Chhatarpal, who belonged to a different caste, without informing her family. His parents were angry about this. After shooting Ayushi with his licensed gun, Nitish Yadav allegedly packed her body in a suitcase and dumped it in Mathura. Ayushi’s body was found wrapped in plastic in a large red suitcase near the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura last Friday. Police said there was blood on the face and head and injury marks all over the body.
