Karachi (Daily Pakistan Online) The Sindh High Court has issued a written decision in the case related to the delay in local body elections.

According to the private TV channel Hum News, the Sindh High Court has said in its decision that it cannot compel the Election Commission, but it should release the election schedule. I complete all the steps.

The court decision has said that the date of local body elections should be given within two months, the provincial government is bound to provide all the facilities including security for the local body elections, the Chief Secretary and IG Sindh will be bound to take all necessary steps before the elections.

It is further stated in the written decision that MQM has proposed not to hold elections related to giving powers to constituencies and local bodies, MQM’s request to postpone the elections has also been rejected. , had requested not to hold elections till the correctness of constituencies and voter list.
