Terrorist attack on military convoy on Pak-Afghan border. 7 soldiers martyrs
According to the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists attacked the military convoy. Four terrorists were also killed in the exchange of fire.
According to ISPR, the attack took place on the Pak-Afghan border in Esham area while a search operation is underway in the area.
Among those martyred were Hawaldar Tariq Yousuf (36 years old, resident of Faisalabad), soldier Sulaiman Waqas (34 years old, resident of Layyah), soldier Junaid Ali (26 years old, resident of Layyah), soldier Ejaz Hussain (27 years old, resident of Khairpur), soldier Waqar Ahmed (25, resident of Mirpur Khas), Cop Muhammad Jawad Amir (24, resident of Chakwal) and Cop Arshad Ali (23, resident of Sohbatpur).
The ISPR said that Pakistan Army is committed to eradicate the scourge of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
