North Waziristan: Mari Petroleum helicopter crashes, 6 individuals killed

A chartered Mi-8 helicopter of Mari Petroleum crashed in North Waziristan.

In response to the assertion issued by Mari Petroleum, 14 passengers together with 3 overseas pilots have been on board the helicopter, all three pilots are from Russia.

The spokesperson of Mari Petroleum has mentioned that based on preliminary studies, 6 individuals on board the helicopter have died and eight have been significantly injured.

The helicopter crashed close to an oil discipline whereas flying in North Waziristan, the accident occurred because of technical causes, the accident has nothing to do with the safety state of affairs within the space or terrorism.

The spokesman has mentioned that the helicopter was offering private transportation in Shiva Waziristan block, the reduction operations of Pakistan Military and different organizations are ongoing.

In response to Mari Petroleum spokesperson, the injured have been shifted to a close-by hospital.

Reason Behind the Crash Of Helicopter

In response to the sources, there was a technical fault within the helicopter whereas taking off and whereas making an emergency touchdown, the tail rotor of the helicopter hit the bottom, the investigation of the accident has been began.
