These people want to crush us like Palestinians: Imran Khan

Rawalpindi: The founder of PTI and former Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that all the leadership has instructions and there is no benefit in negotiating with the establishment. The more we retreat, the more they crush us. This is the policy of the third umpire, not of the institution, and they want to crush us like the Palestinians.

Talking to the media in Adiala Jail, he said that I have completed one year in Adiala Jail today. They thought that Imran Khan would break down and would not be able to stay in jail. I stay at the death cell for 21 to 22 hours. During the summer days, he used to sweat so much that the clothes he was wearing also rotted. They don’t know what a sportsman’s training is, a sportsman’s training is such that he is used to being under all kinds of pressure.

He said that two atomic bombs fell on Japan and it rose again in 10 years because Japan’s institutions were not destroyed. The country is not destroyed until institutions and morals are destroyed. While the extension mafia here wants to take illegal extension, the gang of three mafia is destroying the country’s future and institutions for its expansion. The Hamudur Rehman Commission report sums up that one man destroyed the country’s democracy for his power.

Imran Khan said that billions of dollars were lost in the collapse of Dhaka, and we were humiliated all over the world. 90 thousand prisoners were taken and 50 thousand Pakistanis were killed. After Hamud-ur-Rehman Commission report was hidden, commission report means learn from it.

The former prime minister said that he is calling everyone to protest in Rawalpindi on Saturday, we are not taking permission for the rally, we are announcing the protest. Our lawyers will also protest outside the Supreme Court tomorrow. It has been proven that Qazi Faiz Isa is associated with him, Qazi Faiz Isa is one of his players and Sikandar Sultan Raja is another player. The third umpire is their captain, who is controlling everything. Qazi Faiz Isa continued to protect the oppression of us, Qazi Faiz Isa’s job was to protect the fundamental rights.

Imran Khan during his historic speach in UNGA in 22 October 2019.

He said that our people have been in jail for 16 months without a trial. Mehmood-ul-Rashid and Ejaz Chaudhry are in jails despite their illness. Qazi Faiz Isa did not conduct a single judicial inquiry. Western powers are not calling for a ceasefire in Palestine so that the Palestinians can be crushed first, they also want to crush us first.

Imran Khan said that what should have happened was that the party that won should be given power, but instead our offices are being raided and people are being arrested, Qazi Faiz Isa has given him protection and constitutional amendments are for extension of Qazi. The person who humiliated Qazi Faiz Isa in the bakery was arrested and put in jail. They should be made aware and ashamed. Human society is governed by morality, not by a stick.

He said that a case of 190 million pounds has been made against us, in which a profit of 20 billion has been made. It has not been proved till date that it was crime money, I have not benefited from Al-Qadir Trust.

You are accused that you took four and a half kanals of land for the Al-Qadir Trust in the adjustment of 190 million pounds. 350 kanals of land belong to Al-Qadir Trust and 100 kanals belong to Namal University.

On the journalist’s question, he said that this land was donated by the property tycoon for the trust, and the property tycoon has also given a lot of money to Shaukat Khanum. 10 billion rupees is collected every year for Shaukat Khanum Hospital. Nawaz Sharif and Zardari were in power for 40 years, why did they not create any trust? If the trust does not work, the land goes back to the donor. The construction of Al-Qadir University was given to Malik Riaz because he had good machinery.

The journalist asked that Rauf Hasan has stated that negotiations with the establishment is a party policy? Imran Khan replied that there is no benefit in any kind of negotiations with the establishment. Rauf Hasan has been misunderstood, I am telling everyone that there is no point in negotiating with him. Rauf Hasan visited the prison two or three times but was not allowed to visit.

He said that after the meeting of September 8, I have made it clear that we will not negotiate with anyone. People of the establishment show the right and hit the left.

The journalist asked whether there are the same instructions for Ali Amin Gandapur not to negotiate? Imran Khan said that there are instructions to all the leadership including Ali Amin Gandapur and there is no point in negotiating with the establishment. Since Bajwa’s era, they have been telling us not to talk about neutrality, the more we retreat, the more they crush us. This is the policy of the third umpire and not of the institution.

Law inforcement agencies including Rangers unlawfully arrested Imran Khan from Islamabad High Court last year when he was there to attend a case hearing.

Imran Khan said that I have no acquaintance with Justice Mansoor Ali Shah. Thirty days are left, the appointment of Mansoor Ali Shah, the most senior judge of the Supreme Court, as the Chief Justice should be announced. The constitution also says that the senior most judge will be the Chief Justice, there is a delay here as the appointment of Qazi Faiz Isa was announced 3 months ago, I am talking about Mansoor Ali Shah because he is the senior most judge.

The former prime minister said that the judges of the Islamabad High Court received threats, what did Qazi Faiz Isa do about it? Qazi Faiz Isa does not even try to be neutral.

PTI founder Imran Khan said that he will not hold a protest rally in Rawalpindi on 28th. We are withdrawing our petition from Lahore High Court and Rawalpindi Bench. We know that they will not allow the rally and even if they do, they will give it outside the city. Instead of a rally, we will protest in Rawalpindi on Saturday. Our lawyers will also protest outside the Supreme Court tomorrow.
