Geelong star Patrick Dangerfield has led the Cats out onto the ground, as he makes his returns from a second hamstring injury this season.
The Cats skipper has spent the last eight weeks on the sidelines but Geelong coach Chris Scott declared earlier this week the “shackles are off” for the midfielder.
Dangerfield’s return could have a huge impact on the result against the Blues, as the explosive on-baller has a knack for influencing big games.
But Scott is being a tad more measured than I.
“The question mark is, when a player’s been out for a while, what their match conditioning is like,” Scott said this week.
“That’s obviously hard to get when you’re not playing, and touch and things like that.
“But in terms of his physical conditioning, he’s in really good shape and has done a power of work.”
