Manchester United have been handed a fresh blow with Harry Maguire picking up an injury on international duty.
The England international started the friendly defeat to Brazil last weekend, but he was substituted after the hour mark.
He has now returned to Maguire after picking up a suspected injury and it is left to be seen whether he will be fit for the weekend.
United are scheduled to face Brentford on the road and Maguire could face a race against time to make the game in west London.
If he is absent, manager Erik ten Hag is likely to continue with Raphael Varane and Victor Lindelof at the heart of the defence.
With Aaron Wan-Bissaka back to full fitness, he is expected to start at right-back with Diogo Dalot on the opposite end.
United need to build a long winning streak after the internationals to have any chance of making the top four this term.
