Introduction of Islamic term deposits schemes for investment in National Savings Department

Karachi (Monitoring Desk) Department of National Savings has introduced Islamic term deposits schemes for investment. According to Department of National Savings, the rate of return on 3-year Islamic terms account is 13.28 percent, while the rate of return on 5-year Islamic terms account is 12.60 percent. The rate of interest on Islamic Savings Accounts is 13.50%.
