Important meeting of PCB, possibility of increase in players’ compensation

Lahore (Daily Pakistan Online): The meeting of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Governing Board has started at the National High Performance Center in which there is a possibility that the players’ compensation will be increased.

According to private TV Express News, Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Rameez Raja is presiding over the meeting, which will approve next year’s budget. Board members will be briefed on the tour of West Indies teams to Pakistan.

A separate policy will be approved for the white and red ball format of the national cricketers ‘central contracts while the cricketers’ compensation will be increased. The meeting will review the structure of city cricket associations and other issues. After which we will share the details in the press conference tomorrow.

It is to be noted that the meeting chaired by Rameez Raja is attended by Chief Executive PCB Faisal Hasnain, Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer, Malik Asad Ali Khan, Asim Wajid, Alia Zafar, Arif Saeed and Javed Qureshi.
