Fraud of Rs 5 million from a trader who came from abroad by swindling cheap dollars

Karachi (Daily Pakistan Online): A fraud of Rs 5 million was committed under the guise of cheap dollar from a trader who came from abroad.

In Gulshan-e-Hadid, the merchant from abroad went to the barber shop where the barber offered cheap dollars, saying that his friends sell cheap dollars, on which the merchant was first given two real ڈالر 50 notes. Later, a deal was struck to pay US 30 30,000 in exchange for Rs 5 million. The accused took Rs 5 million from the trader and handed over three counterfeit 50 50 packets.

At the request of the businessman, the police registered a case and arrested the barber and his accomplice, while three persons, including the woman involved in the forgery, escaped.

According to police officials, the trader saw a profit of Rs. 280,000 in the deal.
