According to private TV Dunya News, the value of the dollar in the interbank market rose by 2 rupees 2 paise today, after which the value of the dollar in the interbank market has risen to 173 rupees 20 paise, which is the highest level in the history of Pakistan. ۔

It may be recalled that the Finance Minister of Pakistan, who has now become an advisor, has admitted that the rupee was devalued in order to approach the IMF. Shaukat Tareen, who has been Pakistan’s finance minister for six months, has been appointed adviser to the prime minister, according to a notification issued by private TV Geo News. In the notification issued by the division, it has been said that the post of Shaukat Tareen will be equal to that of the Federal Minister.

Shaukat Tareen was sworn in as Finance Minister on April 17, 2021. Due to not being a public representative, the term of office of Shaukat Tareen was maximum 6 months which ended yesterday. At the same time, the Prime Minister made Shaukat Tareen his advisor. It is hoped that he will now take over the national treasury as an adviser.
