ISLAMABAD (Daily Pakistan Online): A new era of communication and trade has begun under the regional connectivity policy. The first NLC truck carrying goods from Pakistan reached Turkey via Iran.
Trade Adviser Abdul Razzaq Dawood foretold the arrival of the NLC truck in Turkey. Abdul Razzaq Dawood said that under the TIR agreement, the NLC truck left Karachi on September 28 and covered a distance of 5,300 km and reached Istanbul on October 7. This marks the beginning of a new era of communication under the Foreign Ministry’s Regional Coordination Policy.
The trade adviser said using the NLC truck facility would save both time and cost.
