The joint opposition in the National Assembly has filed a no-confidence motion against Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri.
The no-confidence motion has the signatures of all the opposition parties.
The motion stated that the Deputy Speaker had violated the rules and regulations and democratic values during today’s session.
The joint opposition says the deputy speaker deprived the opposition of the right to represent and speak for the people.
The opposition says the legal bills, which have not yet been sent to the standing committees, were passed directly.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has complained that we do not have rights even in the National Assembly.
In a statement issued from Islamabad, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that we do not have the right to read the bill in the House nor to discuss the bill.
He said that we do not have the right to count our votes in the National Assembly and bring the differences on record.
