Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline Project: Agreement reached between Russia and Pakistan

Pakistan and Russia have signed an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) to build a Pakistan Stream gas pipeline to supply gas from Karachi to Kasur.

According to the report, the Pakistani embassy in Russia said that Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shelginov and Pakistan’s ambassador to Moscow Shafqat Ali Khan had visited the north. Signed protocols to amend the agreement on the southern gas pipeline project.

According to the protocol, the project has been renamed as ‘Pakistan Stream Gas Pipeline’.
