The Ministry of Health is disorganized with the slow pace of vaccination

The Ministry of National Health Services has expressed its dissatisfaction with the frequency of vaccination of frontline health workers against the Corona virus in Islamabad.
In a letter addressed to hospitals and public and private laboratories in the capital, the Ministry stated that the pace of vaccination is slow, as less than half of the total registered health workers have been vaccinated against the virus so far.
She expressed regret that the pace of vaccination had not accelerated, despite her directives in this regard.
A total of 8,000 health workers themselves were registered to receive the Covid-19 vaccine in the first stage, but only 3,200 shots were given, although the vaccination counters were still running throughout the week in Islamabad.
The Ministry stressed that vaccinating health workers is the need of the hour, and advised medical staff and paramedics working in health facilities in the capital to obtain vaccination on a priority basis.
She said that the second phase, which will see citizens aged 65 and over, receive the vaccine, will start next month.
