Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) said the company has 12 Boeing 777s powered by General Electric engines, which are considered the safest.
The Pakistan Airlines statement came after Boeing recommended that it suspend operations of aircraft equipped with Pratt & Whitney 4000-112 engines following an accident in an aircraft operated by US-based United Airlines.
