LEAs arrest three accused of kidnapping, and recover the kidnapped


Karachi: Paramilitary and police forces, in a joint raid, arrested three people accused of kidnapping for ransom and found the hijacker, ARI News reported Tuesday.

A Rangers spokesperson said, “The guards and police in a joint operation in Asif Square in Sohrab Goth arrested three wanted suspects involved in kidnapping for ransom.”

The arrested suspects have been identified as Akhtar, Farouk and Bashir.

The spokesman said, “Four hijackers kidnapped a slave motorcycle mechanic from Dalmia Road on February 13th and demanded 20 million rupees in ransom to release the victim from his brother.”

“The Rangers helpline was informed of the crime incident on February 19,” a Rangers spokesperson said.

The paramilitary force formed a special team to investigate the accident.

The spokesman added that “law enforcement officers have arrested three kidnappers from Asif Square in Sohrab Goth, in an operation, while more raids are taking place to arrest other accomplices of the kidnappers.”
