Lahore: I never imagined getting global distinction, said Zara Naeem, a Pakistani student who made the country proud by scoring the highest marks on the ACCA exam where more than 527,000 students from 179 countries appeared.
“In fact for several days, even after I received an email from ACCA telling me that I had branded my world, I wasn’t sure if that was actually true,” Naim told ARY News in an exclusive interview.
Zara Naeem scored 96 percent in financial reporting, saying that her exam preparation method never chased her after grades but focuses on excelling in learning.
“Mastering the topic was my strategy that emphasized this distinction for me.”
She said she made her decision about going to ACCA right while she was still doing O-levels, remembering that it was her teacher who taught her accounting so well that she developed on the subject.
To all of my ACCA colleagues PersonsYou don’t go for grades, Naeem said, but you do have to learn your material so well that it actually helps you go beyond just grading papers.
