Islamabad: The High Court of Islamabad on Tuesday ordered the demolition of illegally constructed Lawyers Chambers in the capital’s local court buildings at the F-8 Center.
A larger judicial body for the International Humanitarian City, headed by Chief of the Court, Athar From God, ruled that “encroachments on any state land and any building on it that violates the 1960 decree and the rules or regulations established thereunder are illegal, null and immediately removable.”

The bench board directed the government to make “arrangements to hold a football tournament among public school students on Pakistan Day, that is, March 23, 2021, to honor the greatest lawyer in the subcontinent and the nation’s founder, the Supreme Leader. Muhammad Ali Jinnah.”
The court directed the Bar Association of Islamabad District to submit its proposed plan to the Capital Development Authority for consideration and approval regarding the lawyers’ plot.
Moreover, the ICC body has directed the city government to start and complete construction of the latest district court complex without undue delay.
