The Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (JCSC) on Thursday reviewed the coronavirus situation in the country and commended the services of the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) for their efforts towards containing the virus.
According to a statement issued by Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), the Joint Coordination Committee meeting took place at the Joint Chiefs of Staff headquarters in Rawalpindi.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairman of the Joint Coordination Committee, Major General Nadim Rida, and was attended by a number of senior military officials, including Chief of Staff of the Army Major General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of the Navy Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, and Chief of the Air Staff Field Marshal. The participants also discussed the situation in India-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IOJ & K) and reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to provide comprehensive diplomatic, moral and political support to the brave people of Kashmir in their struggle for justice and justice. The forum also affirmed the armed forces’ determination to respond to all spectrums of threats in the most appropriate manner, by following a comprehensive security strategy. The participants praised the sacrifices of the security services in their war against terrorism.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of JCSC praised the solidarity of the Pakistani Armed Forces in facing all defense and security challenges.
